Fieldsports Press has announced the acquisition of Gunmart, Gun Trade World, What Gun? and The Sporting Airgun Handbook from David Hall Publishing (DHP).

Since its inception in 1981, Fieldsports Press says Gunmart has maintained a steadfast subscriber base and continues to service a loyal newsstand readership every month. In recent years, Gunmart.net has established itself as a one of the leading online destinations for authoritative, trustworthy and credible gun and product reviews, added the publisher.

Gun Trade World is a global multimedia platform with a monthly print edition, digital newsletters, website and social media channels with live news for the hunting, shooting, tactical, and police industries, reaching over 70,000 business professionals worldwide. Fieldsports Press says this acquisition marks a significant milestone, representing its first internationally distributed title, and underscores its commitment to global expansion.

Selena Barr, co-founder and COO of Fieldsports Press said: “These esteemed titles are a perfect fit for our expanding media group. By integrating these renowned brands, both consumer and B2B, we are enhancing our capability to deliver unparalleled engagement for audiences and advertisers across print and digital platforms.”

This acquisition marks the sixth acquisition in as many years for the specialist media group. All DHP employees associated with the brands will transfer to Fieldsports Press.
