Touch Tree Technology today announced the official launch of ZinUp, an end-to-end AI digital publishing platform that the company says bypasses app store fees and high setup costs to put legacy archives to work.
ZinUp solves an industry challenge, years of high-value editorial becoming hidden and unmonetised once an issue’s publishing cycle ends, says Touch Tree Technology. Operating on AI from end to end, ZinUp turns static archives into active growth engines, enabling publishers to:
- Earn more: Monetise back catalogues through new subscription and sponsorship opportunities.
- Know more: Gain deep insights into how readers interact with historic and current content.
- Reach more: Expand audience touchpoints by publishing digital content alongside print cycles, connecting readers with timely updates and relevant archive material between traditional issues.
Converting large print archives for mobile readers was traditionally cost-prohibitive due to the time and resource investment required to reformat print layouts, added the company. ZinUp eliminates this friction by using AI to automatically transform print archives into responsive digital experiences, layering in digital-only features. Delivered via a web-native framework, the platform bypasses app store gatekeepers - protecting publisher revenue margins, preserving audience data ownership, and lowering operational costs.
Because ZinUp runs on AI from end to end, a publisher's archive continually improves alongside advances in Artificial Intelligence, Touch Tree Technology continued. New platform capabilities automatically extend to back catalogues as soon as they exist, keeping publishers ahead of the curve without requiring ongoing technical re-investment.
“AI in publishing should not be about replacing the editorial process or the people behind it,” said Brendon Bester, commercial director at Touch Tree Technology. “It should be about helping publishers make better use of the content, knowledge and audience relationships they have built. We see a significant opportunity to use AI to extend the life of editorial content and help publishers get more value from every issue.”
ZinUp is available now.
