Future launches ‘Collab’
Hillary Kerr: "We know the creator economy is going to continue to be a vital part of the future of digital media.”

Future, a specialist media company, has introduced Collab, a new cross-portfolio initiative designed to unite the cultural power and influence of some of today’s top digital creators with the established authority of its media brands. According to Future, this new approach showcases how publishers and the creator economy can work together to build authority, trust, and audience engagement.

Through Collab, Future aims to spotlight creators across its digital and social platforms, delivering content tailored to each brand’s voice and audience. Future says all collaborations will be vetted for brand alignment and promoted across channels to maximize reach and impact.

The Collab program is launching with a number of brands and franchises, Future continued. Marie Claire, Who What Wear, Ideal Home, and Homes & Gardens are the first to feature creator-led content, including franchises like "Style at Large" on Marie Claire and “Editors in Residence” on Who What Wear, which will showcase voices in fashion and culture, and "By Design" and "Open House" on Homes & Gardens and Ideal Home, which will bring followers inside the homes of design creators.

Kiplinger has also launched its expert-led series titled “Adviser Intel.” Similarly, GamesRadar+ is slated to introduce creator-led content with its series “Replay.” Together, these shows expand the Collab program into the wealth and gaming categories.

Collab establishes a new standard for creator and publisher partnerships, Future continued. By uniting the cultural power of creators with the authority of Future's brands, this program creates a new model that provides ways to engage with digital-native communities.

Looking ahead, Future says it plans to evolve Collab into a scalable, centralized creator-first content platform where partnerships, storytelling, and brand-aligned creator collaborations can thrive across its portfolio.

"We know the creator economy is going to continue to be a vital part of the future of digital media," said Hillary Kerr, SVP of Women & Luxury at Future. "As the global leader in specialist media, we’re in a unique position to shape how publishers can engage. The Collab program offers a mutually beneficial solution, uniting the cultural relevancy of creators with the established authority of our brands. These are true partnerships designed to build trust and deliver content that deeply resonates with our highly engaged audiences."

"We understand that each of our brands has a unique identity and audience," said Jason Orme, managing director of Lifestyle at Future. "In the homes and lifestyle space, we have built a trusted relationship with our readers who rely on us for inspiration, advice, and the latest trends. Now we're not just reporting on trends; we're collaborating with the creators who are shaping and living them."

"The decision to join Marie Claire as a contributing editor for ‘Style At Large’ was an easy one," said Erika Veurink, founder of EV Salon and creator of the popular Substack, 'Long Live'. "As a writer, I cut my teeth freelancing for incredible legacy publications, so it feels very full circle to be able to partner with Marie Claire…the ask was an easy yes."
