FuturePlus take Auto Trader’s ignition onto iPhone

Auto Trader’s monthly interactive app, ignition, has launched on Apple’s Newsstand for the iPhone.

Produced by leading content agency FuturePlus. The iPhone edition follows the recent announcement of the monthly iPad app.

Auto Trader, the digital marketplace to buy and sell new and used cars, wanted to extend its digital offering and make searching for a car with Auto Trader even easier. Ignition features integrated search functionality to load dedicated search results from Auto Trader’s full classified listings. The app also includes a live Twitter feed with information about the vehicles on sale via Auto Trader and readers can post straight to their own Facebook profiles from within the app.

The iPhone edition, priced at £2.99, will contain the same content as ignition for iPad, however it will be repurposed and adapted for the iPhone giving a mobile optimised experience.

Readers can ‘try before they buy’ with a free month’s trial when they subscribe to one of the subscription packages, which are priced as following:

1 month £2.49

3 months £6.99
