i-D runs seven covers

The Pre-Spring edition of i-D magazine features seven covers, including four of Kate Moss. The issue goes on sale 7 February, priced £6.

According to distributors COMAG: “i-D has a reputation as a manual of style and an indisputable source of consistent inspiration for everyone involved in culture. Now one of the world’s most innovative and influential magazines, covering fashion, music, art, design, film and all things cultural and stylish.

Subtitled ‘The Alphabetical Issue’, the Pre-Spring edition of i-D has seven stunning covers celebrating the best spring/summer 2013 fashion on the world’s most exciting models.

Appearing on her 13th outing on the cover, Kate Moss will be on not one, but four covers shot by Daniele + Iango as well as i-D Fashion Director Charlotte Stockdale. Styled in four of the standout collections of the season - Prada, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Dior – Kate celebrates 20 years of working with i-D with four guaranteed collector’s items.

As well as the ever-popular Kate Moss (who is always a good seller), other models featured on the Pre-Spring issue include Suvi Koponen resplendent in Givenchy, Karmen Pedaru in Chanel and a group of new models photographed by Sarah Richardson and Richard Bush looking bewitching in Hedi Slimane’s first womenswear collection for Saint Laurent.

In an exclusive interview with i-D, Raf Simons recently discussed his first ready-to-wear collection for Dior and inside this issue; he tells how he now considers himself a couturier.

Hitting the streets of London with British Fashion Awards ‘Model of the Year 2012’ Cara Delevingne and a gaggle of new faces, all of whom appear in a witches inspired story.

While elsewhere, returning from the New York, London, Milan and Paris shows, i-D’s Fashion Editors outline some of the hottest trends from the spring/summer 2013 fashion week events.

Away from fashion, other people featured in the Pre-Spring issue of i-D include U.S. rapper A$AP Rocky who talks words and music; star of Homeland, Morgan Saylor hangs out with i-D in New York; psychedelic French singer Melody Prochet talks about her band Echo Chamber and Italian actress and muse of Bernardo Bertolucci, Tea Falco discusses her career.

As well as all this, the Pre-Spring issue gets to grips with the Year of the Snake, the sixth sign of the Chinese zodiac, while i-D Music Editor and urban music oracle Hattie Collins predicts the 13 biggest new musical talents we should be listening out for in 2013.”
