Jamie Magazine Celebrates Its 50th Issue

Celebrating a milestone with its 50th issue, the latest edition of JAMIE MAGAZINE will showcase garden party food, cakes and other summer recipes.

According to distributors COMAG: Declaring “Well, folks, here we are – issue 50!”, Jamie Oliver said: “What a journey it’s been since we first set out to create a magazine celebrating beautiful photography and interesting food stories, while also giving readers content that’s relevant, doable and inspiring. Six years on and I believe we’ve achieved just that.”

Leading the celebrations for issue No.50, Jamie has written a couple of exclusive stories, the first of which is a gastronomic guide to his home county. Jamie says “If you’re looking for good beer and incredible food, great pubs, seaside and countryside, Essex has it all.”

In his second feature, written exclusively for issue No.50 of the magazine, Jamie nails his culinary colours to the mast and predicts which dishes we will all be eating in ten years’ time, even offering readers some of his own recipes for these future classics.

Issue No.50 of JAMIE MAGAZINE will continue the party theme with its own gallery of some of the best show-stopping celebration cakes featured in the title since it launched in 2008.

In addition, the JAMIE MAGAZINE team has chosen its 50 food favourites, featuring the people, restaurants, destinations and trends it loves the most and thinks that readers will too.

Also inside issue No.50 of JAMIE MAGAZINE include a garden party full of Spanish-inspired dishes and an article about aubergines, showing seven ways of serving the seasonal star.

As well as all this, this edition of JAMIE MAGAZINE will have the first of a regular new feature about food destinations in the UK, a step-by-step guide to making salmon en croûte and there will also be a dish-a-day in the latest of the ever-popular ‘Midweek Meals’ section.
