Jon Slade steps into new role

Jon Slade has stepped into the role of Financial Times Group CEO.

Yesterday Jon Slade became CEO of the Financial Times Group.

Slade brings three decades of experience in the media industry, including more than 20 years at the Financial Times. He began his FT career in the advertising team and went on to serve as chief commercial officer, joining the FT management board in 2014.

The announcement of Slade’s appointment as CEO in March can be viewed here. He succeeds John Ridding, who served as CEO for almost two decades.
