The event, now in its third year, celebrates the people at the heart of every family and aims to find the country’s most inspirational grandparents.
Four other JD Williams brands are sponsoring the awards: The Brilliant Gift Shop is sponsoring the ‘Best entry from a child’ award and Fifty Plus sponsors the ‘Glam Gran’ category, Premier Man sponsors the ‘Granddad of the Year’ award and House of Bath sponsor ‘Active Gran of the Year’.
A series of double page spread advertorials featuring Julipa, Premier Man and House of Bath will feature in Yours magazine, starting in the 20th August issue and leading up to the announcement of the award winners in-magazine on 12th November. Directional leads on www.yours.co.uk will also encourage users to visit Julipa, in line with the in-magazine activity, marrying the activity across print and digital channels.
In addition, a lock-up logo incorporating both brands has been created which will be used on advertorials and marketing communications, as well as at the event itself on a photo backdrop board and on the awards presentation.

Award entries will be accepted, via an in-magazine form and online, up until 22nd August 2013. Each winner from the following categories, including new addition ‘Best entry from a child’, will be in with a chance of being crowned the overall ‘Grandparent of the Year’ 2013.
