Launch: Daphne’s Diary

Daphne’s Diary, a new six weekly magazine, goes on sale on 22 October, priced £4.99.

According to distributors Seymour: Daphne's Diary is a magazine in the form of a diary.

It is made out of four types of paper with lots of little extras, like cards, labels, stickers and cut outs.

There is no mention of politics, opinion, celebrities, sex, sports and unpleasant business in Daphne's Diary. It is a sweet and romantic magazine with a vintage look and feel. Daphne's Diary distinguishes itself in appearance from other magazine by the diary theme and the romantic, nostalgic layout.

In this time of crisis, people need security. They are looking for a secure base and home and don’t go out or travel as much. They do more things themselves, they are creative and enjoy hand crafting a cosy home. Everything Daphne does is recognizable.

Daphne’s Diary’s English language edition is not just a translation, but has been adjusted to fit the UK market and readership.

Daphne's Diary is for the woman who loves antiques, vintage, romance and nostalgia. She is creative and loves home decorating and gardening. For this reason she likes to experiment with paper and textiles.

She cooks and bakes simple dishes and enjoys them in the company of her family and friends.

With family or friends, she takes weekend trips to London, Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam, where they search for “brocante” items.

She’s taking a moment for herself to enjoy all the sweet, beautiful and nice things in life.
