Launch: GP International

GP International, a new monthly title for motor racing fans from Bright Publishing, goes on sale 11 October, priced £4.95.

According to distributors COMAG: “Aimed at serious fans of Formula One, GP International will be the only upmarket magazine covering all aspects of the sport of motor racing and the associated lifestyle.

Featuring beautiful photography from some of the sport’s best photographers alongside features by the most respected writers in the business, GP International will be the only F1 title to reflect unashamedly on the luxurious nature of the world’s most glamorous sport.

Core to the quality editorial principles of the magazine, GP International is committed to an effortless, high-end design that is not only the perfect fit for arguably the most photogenic sport in the world, but also unavailable in other F1 magazine on the market.

With a review of the previous race and a preview of the upcoming weekend, each issue of GP International will look at events on the track as well as those from the pits, paddock, press centres and parties at each of the circuits around the world during the F1 season.

As well as a 32-page supplement about Team Lotus, examining everything about the team, the launch issue of GP International has a major feature on McLaren, looking at the drivers, developments and decisions the team has taken in the 2012 season.

Other articles in the November issue include looking at how Mark Webber managed to put a disappointing 2011 season behind him at Red Bull, why Fernando Alonso and Ferrari are a magical combination as well as why rival drivers fear the return of Kimi Räikkönen to F1.

In addition to these pieces about drivers, the November edition of GP International peeks behind the door of the secret room where pitstop crews practice, features the responses from an hour-long meeting with team principal Sir Frank Williams and has a competition to win a gold-plated Williams exhaust, worth more than £100,000!

Superb content, fantastic photos and excellent production values throughout, every issue of GP International will look perfectly at home on even the most discerning of coffee tables.”
