Lloyd’s List launches North American awards

Lloyd’s List is launching the first-ever industry-wide awards event for the North American maritime shipping industry.

Nominations are now open for all 17 categories of the inaugural Lloyd’s List North American Maritime Awards that are taking place on February 19, 2014, in Houston, US.

“The primary function of the awards is to recognise achievement and endeavour across the entire industry. With business and technological developments from the region setting global trends, Lloyd’s List is expecting to receive strong nominations across the board,” says Lloyd’s List editor Richard Meade.

“As the awards are judged by independent industry experts, this peer recognition of achievement is important and prestigious and our panel of judges is certainly well qualified to deliver considered verdicts.”
