Reeves (pictured) will have responsibility for all publishing activity across the Midlands as well as management of the region on a day-to-day basis.
David Brookes, editor-in-chief of the Midlands, will report directly into Reeves, while the commercial team will work closely with the publishing director.
He takes up his new role at the end of July and will report directly to Simon Edgley, Trinity Mirror’s regional managing director.
