Miles 33 expands US Sales

Miles 33 has announced that John Juliano has joined the company as vice president of business development for North America.

John Juliano is a well-known industry-vendor veteran who has worked in all aspects of the newspaper and magazine media industry worldwide.

Mr Juliano joins Miles as the company embarks on an aggressive plan to increase its North American footprint and grow worldwide through acquisitions, staff increases, new product introductions and increased revenue through new sales. With the addition of Mr Juliano, Miles triples its North American sales force, sales Miles 33.

Miles 33 chief executive Mike Moore says, “John is a well-known and highly respected industry expert whose opinions are sought and well recognized. Throughout his career he has been known for his ability to understand technology and the future directions of our industry. He has used this ability to present to the marketplace new and innovative products from vendors that became industry household names."

"We have no doubt that John will raise the awareness of Miles 33 and increase our company's presence in North America."

Mr Juliano has worked with most of the major international vendors, has been responsible for bringing international vendors to the US marketplace and is known, says Miles 33, for the innovative line of products that his company, JJCS, has brought to the industry. Previously, Mr Juliano was Worldwide Marketing Manager for Tera Digital Publishing before its acquisition by Miles 33.

"Miles has the high level of integrity, customer commitment and the right products to make it the dominant vendor in North America as it is in the UK," says Mr Juliano. "Miles’s level of customer commitment is second to none. In these days when our industry is uncertain that any product will still be here tomorrow, Miles still supports every product the company has ever released. Miles always has been, and continues to be the leader in 'no capital investment' solutions for our industry. The company has recently released the right innovative products for today, and has in the pipeline products that will just plain knock your socks off.

"I agreed to work with Miles because their commitment to our industry is long-term and unwavering. The company is healthy and strong. Their five-year plan accurately reflects where I believe our industry is going and provides the products and services that we as an industry need to survive."

Juliano currently writes an opinion column in the Asia-Pacific industry trade pub, GXpress, which he will continue.
