MusicRadar to launch French-language edition

Musicradar.com, one of the world’s leading websites for musicians, continues its growth, with the launch of a full French-language edition in Spring 2013.

Following the site’s successful redesign, MusicRadar will be launching a fully localised version of the site for French consumers.

According to Future, MusicRadar.com’s growth has been powered by providing a worldwide audience with…

• Breaking gear news covering all the major instrument and accessory releases

• Artist interviews offering real insight into the nuts and bolts of the creative process

• Expert tuition for all levels, from beginners to experts

• Independent reviews from the world’s leading experts in guitars, music technology and drums.

Musicradar.com launched in 2007 and now drives 1.6 million unique users per month and in excess of 15 million page impressions, a number that continues to grow, says Future.

Marie-Claire Begrich who has joined the MusicRadar team as Sales and Marketing Manager, will be heading up the site’s commercial activity in France said: “Having previously worked in the French music industry for four years, I feel that MusicRadar offers the French music market a unique opportunity to promote their products and brands. Since its launch in 2007 the site has established itself as a market leader, this rapid growth has been driven by offering musicians the largest amount of trusted independent product reviews available online. Therefore the new French edition will offer the market the opportunity to reach musicians actively looking to purchase products. We have a range of innovative ways our commercial partners can engage with our audience and I am really looking forward to developing these in partnership with key brands and retailers in France”

Rob Last, Publisher of MusicRadar.com, says, “Due to MusicRadar’s ongoing growth, and the sales acceleration of our digital music making titles, we are now reaching more musicians than ever. We've never been in a better position to work with our partners, engaging consumers and helping them to promote their brands and ultimately deliver profits for their businesses. The quality, volume and above all independence of our product reviews gives us a unique opportunity to work with the French music industry."

Will Groves, Editor-in-chief of MusicRadar.com, says,  “The launch of the French edition of MusicRadar is the next stage in our continued global growth. We’re excited about increasing our coverage of the vibrant French and mainland European Music Making scenes."
