Currently Print Editor for the Liverpool Echo, Andrew joined Trinity Mirror in 1995 from the Gloucester Citizen.
An outstanding reporter, Andrew covered the Fred and Rose West crimes and investigation in Gloucester and was embedded as an Echo reporter during NATO operations in Kosovo.
He has held several key roles including Echo Investigations Editor, Welsh News Editor, Assistant Editor, Daily Post Wales, and Deputy Editor Liverpool Echo. He also spent six months as producer of the Channel One TV Station in Liverpool.
Andrew has been a key figure in the implementations of both Newsroom 3.0 and Newsroom 3.1 and central to the Echo’s outstanding record as an award-winning title consistently among the industry’s best commercial performers over the last ten years, says Trinity Mirror.
He will take up his new position at the Daily Post in July.
