New partwork: Knit & Stitch

Knit & Stitch, a new weekly 80 part series from Eaglemoss goes on sale 9 January.

According to distributors COMAG: “Capitalising on the growing trend for make-it-yourself products, Knit & Stitch is a fantastic new weekly collection of patterns and inspirational ideas for creating classic and contemporary clothes. 

Aimed predominantly at women aged 25 and over, Knit & Stitch will appeal to anyone looking to make their own gorgeous garments, chic accessories and stylish products for the home.

Working with Bergere de France, one of Europe’s leading spinning mills, every issue of Knit & Stitch will be packed full of detailed patterns and projects. Each issue will also feature step-by-step instructions on how to make the patterns along with practical tips and essential techniques for readers of all levels of experience and ability.

Featuring knitting, sewing, crochet, tapestry, crewelwork, felting and more, every issue of Knit & Stitch will have something for anyone interested in needlework and creative craft making.

Each issue of Knit & Stitch will carry two balls of high-quality Bergere de France yarn and 16 page magazine, full of patterns, instructions and tips on making many great garments.

In addition to two balls of yarn with each issue, issue No.1 (on sale for a month), at the introductory price of £0.99 will come with an instructional DVD about getting started and a pair of knitting needles. Issue No.2 will be on sale 24/01/13 priced £2.50 and will come with a crochet hook. Issue No.3 will be on sale 31/01/13 at the regular price of £4.50, with another set of knitting needles and a ring binder to collate and collect the series.

The launch of Knit & Stitch will be supported by a massive media campaign across television, e-mail, print, online and social media.”
