NFRN unveils new information service for members

The NFRN has launched what it describes as an exciting and innovative new member service to communicate important news and information.

Called NFRN Newsbreak, it takes the form of a regular monthly broadcast of industry news, interviews with key industry figures and suppliers, new product updates and information on NFRN member services.

The first edition can be viewed here.

Announcing this important new communication, NFRN Commercial Marketing Director Graeme Collins said: “In today’s challenging trading conditions, keeping members as well informed as possible is an important way we can help them be successful.

“We believe that the video format will prove popular with members as it provides an effective way of putting across messages that members can watch at their convenience. We will produce a new edition of Newsbreak every month, featuring all the important news and developments”.

In this month’s edition NFRN chief executive Paul Baxter demonstrates how members can fight for survival, PayPoint shows how net settlement will be of big benefit to members, i-movo explains how technology is transforming voucher handling, Frontline sets out ways in which members can make the most of their magazines and there are features on newly launched NFRN initiatives, NFRN Shoplink and NFRN Cashback.

As well as being accessed from the NFRN website, Newsbreak be sent out in an email to members and copies will be supplied to Membership Services Managers (MSMs) and Retail Development Managers (RDMs) for use at meetings and on member visits.
