Publishing & Media Expo to become part of TFM&A

The 2014 edition of Publishing & Media Expo (P&ME) will now run as part of Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A).

The organisers, UBM Live, write: TFM&A, including International Direct Marketing Expo (IDMX) and Online Advertising & Affiliate Expo (OA&A), will now be more closely aligned with Publishing & Media Expo in an effort to better serve the diverse needs of both respective visitor audiences.

While each individual brand will continue to embrace its key market sector, the benefits of an increased alignment between the shows are threefold - providing increased accessibility for visitors and exhibitors alike, leveraging the well-established show audiences and ensuring these leading shows maintain their position through developing in line with industry trends.

The publishing industry has evolved; with content delivery now prevalent across all industries, and in turn, the boundaries of what it means to be a ‘publisher’ are blurring. As such, the print and publishing industry are wanting to target these content producers - marketers on the hunt for new publishing solutions and the expertise to capitalise on them - thus representing a fast-growing pool of opportunity for P&ME exhibitors to tap into.

TFM&A attracts more than 10,592 marketers each year providing a core audience for P&ME exhibitors to showcase their sought after solutions to.

Similarly, the publishing professionals who traditionally visit P&ME are becoming increasingly receptive to the ‘go where your audience is’ mantra and are hungry to expand on traditional print and further immerse themselves in a multi-platform publishing approach. And it’s the TFM&A exhibitors who can provide the latest technologies to enable this objective.
