Subscriptions Marketing appoints Vivien Matthews

Subscriptions Marketing, the audience acquisition agency, has appointed Vivien Matthews as Consumer Promotions Director.

Vivien (pictured) was previously Circulation Director at Conde Nast, a position she held for twenty four years. In that time, says the company, she masterminded the highly successful launches of the majority of the Conde Nast portfolio including Glamour, GQ and Wired.

“I’m especially delighted to be joining Subscriptions Marketing at this time when the company is expanding its entire suite of consumer marketing activities. They are already at the forefront of delivering high profile and innovative consumer sales programs and I look forward to playing a part in their future success”

Peter Phelps, CEO of Subscription Marketing said: “This appointment is a further indication of how we are developing our business which has been transformed from a call centre to a complete audience acquisition solution serving the publishing, membership and charity sectors.”

The appointment follows the recent arrivals of Andy Oakes, formerly of Centaur Media as PR and Marketing Director and Julian Walker, formerly UK MD of Steak Media as Strategy Director, and the relaunch of its consumer facing website LetsSubscribe.com earlier in the year.
