Telegraph launches Travel Show

Telegraph Events has announced the launch of The Telegraph Travel Show 2016.

The inaugural event, which will take place from 8th – 10th January 2016 at London’s EXCEL, will build on the continued success of The Telegraph’s Travel portfolio, to become the largest consumer travel show in the UK, say the organisers.

In addition to 250 intended exhibitors offering independent and expert advice on planning holidays, visitors will also be able to have their queries answered by The Telegraph’s travel writers and be inspired by celebrity writers and destination specialists.

Kieron Summerhayes, Business Development Director, Telegraph Events, said: “We are launching this event as a result of our extensive research and the huge demand for our travel products. Over 4.6 million people use The Telegraph Travel website every month and this demand for content from a trusted brand such as ours, has seen Telegraph consumers spend £9.4billion* on their holidays this year. The opportunity for visitors to speak to such a wide range of tourist boards face-to-face is something not found on the high street or online and we’re proud to be able to offer this on such an impressive scale.”

The Telegraph Travel Show will include The Telegraph Cruise Show and will be co-located with the London Boat Show. As a result, it is expected to attract more than 42,000 visitors over three days, making it the biggest consumer travel event.

Tickets will be available to purchase from October this year.
