Telegraph partners with Sky Sports on new sports supplement

The Telegraph has announced the launch of a new, weekly supplement, Telegraph Total Football, in partnership with Sky Sports, adding a new section to The Telegraph’s sports offering and reinforcing its commitment to providing the best sporting coverage.

Starting this Monday, 12th August, the first of the Telegraph Total Football supplements will feature a preview of the upcoming Barclays Premier League football season including Henry Winter’s view of the title race, Alan Smith’s predictions of where each team will finish, an in-depth guide to every club and a fixtures wallchart. The supplement will appear as a separate section in The Daily Telegraph each Monday for the duration of the football season providing, says the Telegraph, the best coverage and analysis of the weekend's football and including first class editorial from The Telegraph’s award-winning writers such as Henry Winter, Paul Hayward, Alan Smith and Alan Hansen.

Telegraph Total Football, which will also be available as an iPad edition, will be supported by a month-long, digital outdoor marketing campaign at London mainline stations.

Ted Moss, Brand Director, Sky Sports & Sky Movies, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The Telegraph for the launch of Telegraph Total Football. This is our biggest Barclays Premier League season ever, with 116 live games only on Sky Sports. Our partnership with The Telegraph will be a fantastic opportunity to promote Sky Sports to a passionate and informed football audience across paper, online, mobile and iPad. Bring on more games than ever before.”

Adam Sills, Sports Editor, The Daily Telegraph, said: “We are delighted to be launching Telegraph Total Football, a dedicated section every Monday, which will be the best place to catch up with the weekend's action. Our unrivalled team of writers will provide brilliant coverage of the Barclays Premier League, Sky Bet Football League, European football and much more, and set the scene for the week ahead.

“Alongside Britain's only separate daily Sport section, which will continue comprehensive and outstanding coverage of everything away from football, it will be the definitive Monday sports package."

Nick Green, Sport Sponsorship Manager, TMG, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Sky Sports to produce Telegraph Total Football. This is a new and exciting opportunity and testament to the fantastic sports partnerships The Telegraph offers to brands.”
