Trinity Mirror Titles Banned by Newcastle United

Trinity Mirror titles in the North East have been banned for Newscastle United following coverage by The Chronicle of a protest march by fans.

As reported by the Newcastle Chronicle on 29 October: Newcastle United have banned the Chronicle from the club.

Toon chiefs informed the paper that access to all media facilities at St James’ Park and the club’s Benton base have been suspended until further notice.

The club have taken the action following coverage in the Chronicle of a protest march from fans group Time4change who marched through the city before the Liverpool game to demonstrate their displeasure with Mike Ashley’s ownership of the Toon.
