Vogue announces Vogue Festival 2013

The Vogue Festival in association with Vertu will return for a second year, to be held on 27th and 28th April 2013, it was announced yesterday.

Alexandra Shulman, Editor of British Vogue comments, “Our first Vogue Festival was such a success that for 2013 we are planning to do it again on a larger scale. It is clear that giving our readers the chance to see and hear the people whose talent is reflected in the pages of the magazine surrounded by a fun, fashion environment, attracts an engaged and lively audience that are part of the unique appeal of this event.”

Perry Oosting, Chief Executive of Vertu, adds, “Design, art and fashion are key drivers behind everything that Vertu does and these same pillars underpin Vogue. We are therefore delighted to be sponsoring the Vogue Festival in its 2nd year. It gives everyone who is passionate about fashion, the arts and luxury brands a behind the scenes look at an industry like no other. Vertu will also be able to give Festival goers an exclusive view of its latest product offering.”

According to the organisers, the Vogue Festival 2012 saw the largest gathering in this country of fashion talent under one roof in a two-day extravaganza, including Tom Ford, Tim Walker, Diane von Furstenberg, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Rachel Zoe, Stella McCartney and Christopher Bailey. The Vogue Festival 2013 looks set to be bigger and even more spectacular. Attendees will have the chance to see and hear from some of the leading international designers, photographers, models, and writers in the industry. Festival goers will also have the opportunity to get involved in some of the interesting issues and topics of the day arising in the fashion world, as well as enjoying a range of workshops, makeovers, performances, and other activities.

The Vogue Festival 2013 will be held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London SE1. Tickets will go on sale in February 2013.

Vertu is a leading pioneer of luxury mobile phones.
