Bob Satchwell

Executive director of the Society of Editors since 1999, Bob Satchwell started his career in journalism at the Lancashire Evening Post in 1970. He is a former assistant editor of the News of the World and was editor of the Cambridge Evening News from 1984-98. Bob is a member of the NCTJ board, The Defence, Press and Broadcasting Advisory Committee (DPBAC), and a Trustee of the CPU Media Trust and the London Press Club.
