Dave Toomer

Dave has been a journalist for nearly 40 years, having worked in local and regional newspapers, and has run a hyperlocal website in Manchester. He now teaches reporting politics and media law at Liverpool John Moores University and is currently working on a PhD focusing on the decline of newspapers and the role of hyperlocal media in areas of deprivation.
