Ian Carter

Ian is chief operating officer at Iliffe Media Group. He has previously held a number of senior editorial roles at national and regional publications, including editorial director at Iliffe Media and KM Media Group, senior group editor at Trinity Mirror Southern and chief sub editor at the BBC.

Ian is a member of the Editors’ Code committee, a former IPSO editorial commissioner and helped launch the BBC Local Democracy Reporter scheme, where he continues to represent commercial publishers.
