Neil Fowler

Neil was the 2010/11 Guardian Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford where he investigated the decline of the UK regional and local newspaper sector. Previously, he was editor of four provincial dailies in England and Wales as well as Which? magazine. He was also publisher of the Toronto Sun. He currently works with John Mair, Richard Tait, Ray Snoddy and Tor Clark in co-editing media and politics books, the latest of which is Brexit, Boris and the Media.
