Nick Waters

Nick is a senior investigator at Bellingcat, where he’s worked since 2018. With a background as a British Army infantry officer, Nick has always been interested in the application of open source investigation to conflict, writing about chemical weapons in Syria, airstrikes in Yemen and the use of small drones by sub-state actors. His current focus is on the use of open source information as evidence for accountability purposes.
