John Bennett (pictured on the left) is Head of Digital Media at Lessiter Media. He joined Lessiter in 2020 after spending the previous 13 years piloting digital transformation for National Business Media. As a leader in strategic integrated media, he uses marketing technologies to drive new business, enhance operational efficiencies, and increase market exposure and profitability. At Penton Media in the UK, John held operational oversight for print production, circulation fulfilment, business system development, and office operations. Additional executive experience includes working at Gannett, Wiesner Media, and McClatchey, where he developed strategic roadmaps to catalyse growth, innovation, and profitability.

Andy Kowl (pictured on the right) is Senior Vice President, Publishing Strategy, at ePublishing. Andy is a journalist and entrepreneurial publisher with more than 40 years developing, marketing and growing publishing companies. He is senior vice president of publishing strategy for ePublishing, a leading enterprise publishing system provider that manages content, audience data, workflow, newsletters and e-commerce for hundreds of online publications. He helps publishers increase reader engagement and response by integrating behavioural data with contextual content, and shows them direct ways to monetise the results. His background includes publishing, editing and/or owning magazines and information products covering specialty retail, horse breeding, real estate, credit unions, Wall Street compliance and wireless technology.

James has worked in magazine publishing since 1989, and has been the editor and publisher of InPublishing since it launched in 2003. He began his career with Trinity Publishing (now DMG) and was then group circulation manager at Centaur Communications from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2003, he worked as a circulation consultant to a wide range of companies including Guardian Media Group, FT Business, Euromoney, WH Smith News and Wilmington.
