Rebekah Billingsley has over 18 years’ experience in commercial and strategic management within the media, working across television, digital, newspapers, magazines, radio and mobile. Her speciality is transforming the digital divisions of traditional publishing companies and more recently in the nascent digital magazine publishing space.
Her career spans some of the UK’s biggest publishers including News International, Bauer Media, Hachette Filipacchi and BBC Worldwide where she has helped to transform their digital businesses into core, profitable areas of the business. For the past four years, Rebekah has been one of the driving forces behind digital magazine development in the UK.
Rebekah formed Big Cat Consulting in January 2013 in response to the growing need from publishers to realise their own digital potential and specialises in helping smaller publishers find success in the digital publishing market. Her clients span three continents and include consumer and B2B publishers, platform providers, consultancies, trade bodies and she is a regular speaker at conferences and contributor to trade press.

James has worked in magazine publishing since 1989, and has been the editor and publisher of InPublishing since it launched in 2003. He began his career with Trinity Publishing (now DMG) and was then group circulation manager at Centaur Communications from 1994 to 1996.
