The Live reporting team will focus on expanding the digital reach of Archant’s portfolio of London-based weekly newspapers such as the Ham & High Express and the Romford Recorder.
Cash, who has worked as a news reporter for Archant in London since February 2020, told HTFP: “I feel really privileged to be leading the newly-created live team and am grateful to have such great reporters working with me.
“It’s a unique opportunity that we’re all excited by – the potential is huge,” she added.
Sally Patterson has been appointed as Cash’s deputy in the team and two reporters have been appointed to lead the rest of Archant’s London portfolio of newspapers.
Emily Hewett, Archant’s head of digital audience, said: “Cash has a proven track record of providing top quality content in London.
