Bauer Media Group has launched a new true crime podcast series called, Crime Monthly Presents: Evil Uncovered, which brings to life content from its crime entertainment brand.

The eight-part series dives into Crime Monthly’s archives to bring listeners 24 true-life tales of terror that shocked the world, with episodes released weekly on Tuesday starting 3 September and running until 22 October, added the publisher.

Each episode focuses on three different stories from around the globe that are connected by a single theme. In episode one ‘Hitchhiker Horrors’, listeners will find three chilling tales of roadside abduction starting in California with the brutal crimes of the Toolbox Killers Bittaker and Norris, then venturing into the Australian Outback with Backpacker Murderer Ivan Milat, before returning to California to explore the terrifying case of Co-Ed Killer Ed Kemper.

  10. These three stories of unforgivable betrayal delve into the Lafferty family slayings, the mysterious disappearance of Susan Powell, and the tragic crimes of Veronica Youngblood.
