NASa already represent the majority of Local World’s portfolio, therefore it is a natural progression to move the former Iliffe titles to NASa, says Local World. National classified advertising will also move to DMG media’s London Classified team under the control of Martin Smith which also represents Metro (London) and the London Evening Standard. National digital sales will remain with Mediaforce who already represent Local World for digital.
Mike Richardson, Executive Director, Local World said: “I'd like to thank Mediaforce and formerly Clacksons for their support over many years, and we are pleased to continue our relationship for national digital sales. By adding these titles to NASa we improve our national coverage and strengthen a selection of package opportunities.”
Gary McNish, Regional Managing Director of NASa, said: “The former Iliffe titles are a perfect geographic fit with the NASa portfolio, giving us the scale and strong local brands to further establish us as the leading player in the market.”
In March Trinity Mirror launched the National Advertising Sales Agency (NASa) which represents Trinity Mirror’s regional, national and digital newspaper brands as well as a growing number of external publisher clients. NASa is headed up by Managing Director David Emin.
