Future has announced its next AI innovation, Advisor.

Future unveils Advisor
Matt Trotta: “We believe as a publisher, AI presents a unique ‘win-win’ opportunity to serve our audiences better while delivering more value to advertisers.”

Future, a global specialist media company, today unveiled Advisor, its latest data and technology innovation, an AI content categorization engine that harnesses the power of machine learning and large language models for real-time, in-depth article analysis.

Built in-house by Future’s data science, engineering and product teams, and integrated across more than 50 of Future’s specialist brands such as Marie Claire, Who What Wear, Tom’s Guide, PC Gamer, The Week, and more, Future claims Advisor has already driven measurable outcomes across three core areas: eCommerce, Advertising and User Engagement.

  • Ad Performance, for more optimized campaign efficiency and targeting, enabling partners to reach the right audiences with greater impact, enhancing key performance benchmarks.
  • eCommerce, by helping users navigate through their shopping journey to purchase, leading to a noticeable increase in revenue per session.
  • User Engagement, through more personalized content recommendations across digital platforms, leading to a threefold increase in on-site click-through rates.

“We believe as a publisher, AI presents a unique ‘win-win’ opportunity to serve our audiences better while delivering more value to advertisers,” said Matt Trotta, SVP of commercial at Future. “Great storytelling and innovative technology can, and should, work hand in hand. With Advisor, we’re powering an elevated user experience through more personalized content, helping readers connect and spend more time with the trusted reporting and recommendations of our editorial teams while allowing us to increase ad relevance, improve monetization and strengthen our best-in-class targeting capabilities.”

“Enhancing our ability to understand what a user wants to read next doesn't just improve the experience for our audiences, it directly powers more intelligent, high-impact targeting for our advertising partners,” said Jamie Samuel, director of commercial product at Future. “That’s why we consider Advisor a dynamic, evolving technology, with every improvement we make to its recommendation engine strengthening both our editorial offerings and the commercial value we provide, in turn elevating the entire Future ecosystem.”

Future says as the latest innovation to emerge from its ongoing investment in AI, Advisor exemplifies the company’s commitment to enhancing value for both users and advertisers with impactful solutions that are personalized, performance-driven, and scalable.
