The one and two-year schemes will see the new apprentices spend an average of one day per week in off-the-job training, while also benefitting from the support of the company’s Learning and Development team.
As part of Haymarket's commitment to the Richmond Education and Enterprise Partnership with Richmond College, 20 apprenticeship opportunities will be offered within the next three years.
Danielle Tracey, Skills Academy Business Partner, said: “The Haymarket Skills Academy was launched to create a sustainable pipeline of new talent for the business; our apprenticeship scheme supports this by developing and retaining the relevant skills for our business needs.”
“Next week we will find out whether we have been successful in winning ‘Newcomer of the Year’ in the National Apprenticeship Awards. This is a great time for the Skills Academy and I am confident that these 10 apprentices will thrive in their new roles - good luck to them all!”
