Neil Jagger: “Thanks to support from the newspaper and magazine trade we are delighted to be hosting another Carol Concert this year to mark the end of what has been an extremely busy 12 months for the charity.”

NewstrAid says this popular annual event will take place at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street on Monday 4th December at 6.45pm and will be followed by drinks and mince pies in the Bridewell Hall next door.

Neil Jagger, CEO for NewstrAid, said: “Thanks to support from the newspaper and magazine trade we are delighted to be hosting another Carol Concert this year to mark the end of what has been an extremely busy 12 months for the charity. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting industry colleagues struggling with the cost of living and judging by the number of applications for help we have received in 2023, this support is needed now more than ever.”

With sponsors including wholesalers, publishers and distributors, the evening will include carols and Christmas music from the famous St Bride’s Choir along with seasonal readings by colleagues from the industry and some festive refreshments. Tickets cost £20 (£15 concessions) and can be booked by emailing joanne@newstraid.org.uk

Businesses supporting the Christmas concert include:

Neil Jagger added, “This is the perfect way to kick off Christmas whilst also helping NewstrAid to raise some money to support colleagues in need. We look forward to welcoming some new as well as some familiar faces to this special event on December 4th!”
