Tracy Middleton: “Working with Mourad and a team of gamers who understand the audience, of whom over half is female, has enabled us to cultivate a growing engaged following.”

Mail Gaming, a global gaming channel, says it has gone from strength-to-strength since launching on Feb 4 last year, delivering authentic, brand-safe content to successfully engage the 13 million gamers who use MailOnline and Metro’s digital platforms.

Managing Producer, Mourad El-Dine Abdou has led the charge, with his videos attracting 36 million likes on TikTok alone as he focuses on iconic moments in trending games such as Marvel Rivals and delivering original content from some of the biggest global gaming conventions. He has also met dozens of gaming clients and agencies around the world – including at Gamescom Cologne and Summer Game Fest – as the impact and reputation of Mail Gaming has grown, added the publisher.

Tracy Middleton, head of media & entertainment at Mail Metro Media said: “Working with Mourad and a team of gamers who understand the audience, of whom over half is female, has enabled us to cultivate a growing engaged following. In turn, it’s incredibly exciting to be enabling brands to effectively reach this valuable diverse audience made up of a wide spectrum of gamers.

“We’re reaching a phenomenal range of them, from passionate gamers who spend hundreds a month on the latest releases and tech, to E-sports fans and commuters playing Candy Crush on their way home. We’re determined to keep the momentum going in 2025, and Mourad is looking forward to expanding the content we produce, branching more into long-form video on YouTube and even livestreaming some of the biggest releases as they drop.”

The publisher says gaming is the most powerful entertainment medium of the 21st century, projected to be worth over $200 billion globally in 2025. Daily Mail says last year’s launch of Mail Gaming complements its strategy to lean into topics where the publisher already attracts global engagement.
