Mail launches new Royal channel
Danny Groom: “Millions of readers across the globe devour our royal coverage daily, whether it’s from the house of Windsor to the royal households of Monaco and Morocco.”

The Mail says, integrated into the global news website, the new Royal channel will be a home for all things Royal – 24 hours a day, seven days a week, complementing the Royal coverage in the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and The Mail+.

Danny Groom, publisher and editor, MailOnline said: “Millions of readers across the globe devour our royal coverage daily, whether it’s from the house of Windsor to the royal households of Monaco and Morocco. Our new Royal channel will give them access to breaking news, live events, and exclusive stories that they won’t find anywhere else.”

The Mail’s Royal journalists, experts and columnists will provide the channel with their insights into the workings of The Firm and all of the royal households around the globe.

The publisher says the channel will also feature never-before seen photos and video footage of the Royal family from the Daily Mail’s extensive archives.

In addition, the coverage will feature lifestyle content celebrating the best of Royal fashion, beauty, real estate, and travel with a regal twist.

Sean Walsh, global chief brand officer, dmg media, said: “Daily Mail has been documenting the Royal family since 1896 and with King Charles’ historic coronation next month, our loyal readers will have access to the most up to date and truly global Royal news 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

The Mail added that the Royal channel will be staffed by a team of journalists from their newsrooms in London, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney.
