Rachel Hall: “With a cost-of-living crisis, higher fees and disruption from industrial action, prospective students need trustworthy advice on where to study more than ever.”

The latest Guardian University Guide features league tables ranking universities on a number of criteria, says the publisher, including student satisfaction scores based on teaching and feedback, as well as how likely students are to stay on their courses and the proportion of graduates in employment or further study after graduation. It will also contain league tables ranking universities by subject area.

In addition, the Guardian says this year's supplement includes new features such as advice on how to: choose a university; look after your mental health and; learn how to cook whilst you’re there.

The online version of the guide will launch on the Guardian website at 8am on Saturday 09 September, covering everything in the print supplement, as well as profiles of each university and subject area.

Rachel Hall, editor of the Guardian University Guide, said: “With a cost-of-living crisis, higher fees and disruption from industrial action, prospective students need trustworthy advice on where to study more than ever. We are pleased to be publishing the latest Guardian University Guide, which students and families can use to make informed decisions about their choices, and staff in schools and universities can consult and share during the year ahead.”
