MailOnline records best day ever

The MailOnline achieved its best day ever for global daily unique browsers in April 2013. On 16th April 2013, 9,558,256 unique browsers visited MailOnline’s website and apps.

Less than a week later on the 22nd April, says the Mail, MailOnline recorded 9,226,255 global daily unique browsers for its second best day ever. These two days contributed to MailOnline recording an average of 7,833,182 global daily unique browsers in April 2013, which is 9% higher than the previous month.

This month’s ABC certificate for worldwide traffic also confirms that MailOnline achieved 119,089,705 monthly unique browsers, an increase of 6% on March 2013. This is an additional 28,780,453 browsers on April 2012, representing growth of 32%.

According to figures released by ABC yesterday, MailOnline recorded 42,126,862 monthly unique browsers in the UK. This is 2% higher than the previous month and 34% higher than April 2012.

In the UK, average daily unique visitors were 3,511,350, a 5% increase on March 2013 and 45% higher than April 2012.

MailOnline’s iPhone App was accessed by 418,127 unique browsers every day in April 2013. This is the highest total to date and the second successive month over 400,000. It is an increase of 4% month on month and 95% year on year.

There were also 867,689 global monthly unique browsers to the app in the month, representing 3% growth against the previous month.

The MailOnline’s Android App had 560,758 global visitors in April, with an average of 185,577 each day, which is 7% higher than in March.

Comscore, the leading global internet metrics company, said that in April 2013, MailOnline recorded an average of 6.444 million daily unique visitors against 6.570 million for the NYTimes.com, and 48.362 million monthly unique visitors against 50.800 million for the NYTimes.com.

MailOnline also received 27% more Monthly Unique Visitors and 24% more Average Daily Visitors than BBC News globally.
