New editor for You & Your Wedding Editor

Maxine Briggs is the new editor of leading bridal brand You & Your Wedding, Immediate Media Company has announced.

In her new role Briggs (pictured) will be responsible for leading You & Your Wedding’s editorial teams on both the magazine and its website youandyourwedding.co.uk, as well as developing and executing the editorial vision across all platforms and formats in line with the wider brand strategy.

Briggs brings to the role over 12 years’ experience in both traditional media and digital platforms. She has edited several consumer and customer magazines, including Asda’s and Sainsbury’s Fresh Ideas and her previous role was Editorial Director at agency Tullo Marshall Warren, where she built a content team from scratch, creating magazines, websites and social media strategies for clients including Diageo and Unilever.

You & Your Wedding’s Publishing Director, Dominic Murray, said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Maxine to the business. Briggs joined Immediate Media Company yesterday. She is based at Immediate Media’s west London office and will report to Dominic Murray, Publishing Director.
