Emma was appointed interim CFO in July 2022, overseeing finance, facilities, health, safety and security across all elements of the News UK business, including The Sun, The Times & The Sunday Times and News Broadcasting, says the publisher.

Emma originally joined News Corp in 2003 working largely on European M&A activity. She joined News UK in 2011 and has worked in a variety of senior financial roles including CFO of programmatic video marketplace Unruly.
Most recently, added the publisher, she was finance director of News Broadcasting, the TV and radio division of News UK which includes leading national stations talkSPORT, Virgin Radio UK and Times Radio, as well as a portfolio of popular local radio brands in Ireland. She was FD through the development and launch of TalkTV, a major new voice in UK media, available on linear TV as well as an array of streaming services, social media and via the TalkTV app.
Prior to working at News Corp, Emma started her career at EY where she obtained her ACA qualification.
