NI appoints new Head of Creative Solutions

News International Commercial has appointed David Vokes as its new Head of Creative Solutions.

David’s key responsibilities will be to generate greater commercial revenue and commercial content-led campaigns. David (pictured) brings over ten years of sales and sponsorship experience most recently with Metro’s Olympics project where he secured £12m of revenue in 14 months from both official and non-official sponsors including Adidas, Visa, Samsung, BT and P&G.

Reporting into Corinne Wilkins, Partnerships Director, David will use his key skills to develop close working relationships at an editorial level to deliver the highest standards of commercial creativity across all titles and on all platforms, says News International. In addition he’ll initiate, develop and deliver multiplatform creative ideas to agencies and clients to generate additional group wide revenue/profit over and above traditional advertising.

Prior to News International Commercial, David also worked at Telegraph Media Group and Mirror Group where he was responsible for sports sponsorship, creative solutions and formulating multi-media deals.
