Ozone unveils new positioning
Damon Reeve: “We are very excited to be entering the next phase of our business growth with a new story and reinvigorated energy.”

Ozone – a digital advertising business founded by four UK publishers – has announced a number of changes across the organisation as it accelerates the growth of its audience platform business.

Ozone says underpinning this shift is a refreshed advertiser narrative that aims to position it as a complementary platform alternative to social and programmatic tech channels in reaching scaled digital audiences, operating across the premium end of the internet. Under the banner of ‘The Art of Connection’, this new story will focus on the power and critical importance of the human connections created by Ozone’s audience-first content partners to deliver the scaled results that advertisers need, added Ozone.

Ozone’s new storytelling challenges brands and agencies to seek out ‘The Connection Advantage’ when it comes to online advertising; a multiplier effect that combines these audience connections at scale, with Ozone’s creative and audience understanding to deliver better digital results for brands, continued the business.

In line with this platform narrative, Ozone has refocused a number of commercial roles, all reporting to Chief Revenue Officer, Craig Tuck. Emma Cranston becomes senior director of advertising overseeing agency sales and client services, while Jacque Chadwick takes on an expanded remit working across Ozone’s brand and agency commercial partnerships. These changes have also seen Jhan Hancock-Rushton take on the new role of strategy & client director, while Frances Lazenby is promoted to strategic solutions director.

As Ozone says its growth outside of the UK continues, it has announced it is increasing investment in both its US business and Premium World propositions. Launched in the summer of 2024, Premium World provides an easy activation channel for international planning and buying teams to deliver campaigns across the premium web in international territories, including France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

As part of the ongoing growth of its publisher business – led by Ozone’s COO Danny Spears – Dipti Patel has been promoted to senior director of publisher development, while Charlotte Seagers becomes director of customer success and GTM.

During the remainder of 2025, Ozone says it expects to hire a further 24 new hires into the business – representing 20% growth in headcount.

Damon Reeve, Ozone CEO, said: “We are very excited to be entering the next phase of our business growth with a new story and reinvigorated energy. We started the year refining our focus, to ensure we are in the best shape to deliver for both our advertiser and publisher customers. Almost seven years on from our 2018 launch, Ozone is an unrecognisable business, brimming with great technical capability and some of the best talent in the industry. We can’t wait to tell our new platform story, and more importantly, demonstrate the scaled impact this will have for our customers’ businesses.”
