As part of its growth strategy, PCS Publishing has recently welcomed operations director Matt Whiles, quality assurance manager Daniel Taylor and product specialist Gemma Warner to the team. Meanwhile, Simon Weare, who has been with the business for 19 years, has been promoted to development director, and Hannah Lloyd, who joined as marketing manager in 2016, has been promoted to marketing director.
Managing director Graeme Clifford, said it is an exciting time for the company, which has established itself as a publishing technology partner to several media organisations including MNA, Newsquest, Racing Post, DC Thomson, SPP Media Group and Iliffe Media.
“PCS has been serving the publishing industry for 45 years, but we don’t rest on our laurels, which is why the company has grown to become an industry leader that is targeting increased growth,” said Graeme.
“We have a strong history of designing exciting and innovative solutions, while ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do. While some of our competitors are moving away from the publishing industry, our strong reputation within this sector means we are seeing continued growth year-on-year and it remains our primary focus.
“One way we have achieved our robust reputation is by making sure we have the right people in place, and I’m confident we have a fantastic team that will help the business go from strength to strength. With these new appointments we are ensuring that more businesses can access our full suite of solutions, and the team can continue to develop the brand for the benefit of our customers.”
New to PCS is Matt Whiles, who will support the team in managing the increased demands following the launch of Knowledge Prospect, which is the PCS advertising sales and customer management platform. He is also helping with the implementation of software across two news media groups and at a leading magazine.
The new role of quality assurance manager has been created to ensure enhancements made to products are tested, and re-tested, to safeguard a smooth roll out to clients. Daniel Taylor will be managing this process and supporting the development team. Also, with the growing number of customers, it was imperative that support levels were increased, says PCS. Gemma Warner has now joined the team to ensure optimum service for customers.
Graeme added: “We are also pleased to welcome two new board members with the promotions of Simon Weare and Hannah Lloyd. Simon has played a pivotal role in the development of the Knowledge suite and will drive the direction, evolution and growth of the portfolio of solutions. While Hannah has helped turn the company into a market leading business. She will continue to seek and drive new opportunities for PCS as well as enhancing the existing customer experience.”
