The Stage launches theatre news app

The Stage App has now been launched, providing news, reviews, job listings, advice and more for those working in performing arts.

The Stage App is free to download from the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, replacing The Stage’s previous ‘The Stage Newspaper’ app.

On the new app, readers can now get digital editions, breaking news, reviews, careers advice and jobs all in one place on their smartphone or tablet, helping them keep up-to-date with the latest news and reviews quickly and easily.

The Stage newspaper will be published every Thursday morning through The Stage App, as both a curated digital edition and as a PDF replica of the printed paper; letting users download and read The Stage offline.

The Stage Digital Edition and Print Edition subscribers get unlimited access to the app, while non-subscribers can access new free stories every week. Users can also buy single weekly editions of The Stage, to read immediately. The Stage App is free to download.

App users can save their favourite articles to their Scrapbook, access previous issues and search through digital editions. The app provides a convenient way to read The Stage on any device, say the publishers.
