Vogue Video debuts The Vogue Beauty School Series

Condé Nast Britain yesterday announced the debut of The Vogue Beauty School Series, launching with ‘How To Cleanse’, a step-by-step visual guide, now live on the Vogue video channel.

Created in collaboration with Nicola Moulton, Beauty and Health Director of Vogue and Lauren Murdoch-Smith, Deputy Beauty and Health Editor, who were involved in the script conception and artistic direction, the series features expert advice and guidance on skincare and make-up from leading beauty consultants and make-up artists. The first short film from the series offers an instructional guide exploring cleansing, one of the must-know basics of a successful daily beauty regime.

Further films to follow from The Vogue Beauty School over the coming weeks will offer expert guidance on skincare and make up. Highlights include examining the best way of cleansing with a gadget and exploring the most effective way to draw winged eyeliner and wear a red lip.

The Vogue Beauty School timetable for skincare is as follows:

SKINCARE – August 2015

Episode 1 ‘How To Cleanse’ – Live Thursday 13th August 2015

Episode 2 ‘How To Exfoliate’– Live Tuesday 18th August 2015

Episode 3 ‘How to Cleanse with A Cleansing Gadget’ – Live Thursday 20th August 2015

Episode 4: ‘How to Use a Primer’– Live Tuesday 25th August 2015

Episode 5: ‘How to Use a Night Cream’ – Live Thursday 27th August 2015

The Make-Up series will begin in September 2015.

Vogue Video launched in June with ‘Vogue Presents The Minions’ and has received 2.5 million views to date for its varied video content since launch.

The Vogue Beauty School was created by the recently appointed Condé Nast Digital Video team, lead by Danielle Bennison-Brown, and is directed by George Harvey.

The GQ Video channel will launch this autumn, followed by a Glamour and Wired channel. Video content from all the branded channels will also be found on The Scene, due to launch later in the summer, making this a go-to hub for premium video editorial offering variety and depth, says Condé Nast.
