TEMPO: The Quarterly Review of New Music features coverage of global contemporary music, with in-depth articles, composer portraits, and reviews of premieres, recordings, and books. The magazine’s complete archive, of nearly 350 issues, will be available to access with subscriptions. This is more than eighty years of critical commentary and research into experimental music; making the journal an essential resource for music teaching, studying and performance.
Institutions will be able to purchase IP-authenticated and remote access to all back issues, as well as new issues as they are published, added Exact Editions. Libraries will also have the option to purchase POA (Perpetual and Ongoing Access) via Exact Editions - a subscription option which provides institutions with permanent access to all past and future issues of the magazine.
Patrick Becker, director and publisher of Wolke Verlag, said: “We’re pleased to partner with Exact Editions for institutional subscriptions. The magazine looks great on the digital platform and we’re thrilled to bring it to new library audiences across the globe.”
Daryl Rayner, managing director of Exact Editions, commented: “TEMPO is an outstanding academic journal and we’re delighted to host the magazine’s complete archive. It’s exciting to be the exclusive digital vendor for the magazine’s exciting new chapter and expect high demand from the institutional market.”
