A new destination for Condé Nast Traveller

Condé Nast Traveller has launched in Turkey, with the debut issue hitting newsstands yesterday.

Published in partnership with Dogus Media Group, under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Çiler Ilha, this will be the ninth edition of the magazine available globally.

Carol Cornuau, President of Condé Nast New Markets, remarked: “Following the significant success of Vogue and GQ in this market, we have identified a demand for authoritative and incisive travel editorial among the cosmopolitan Turkish consumer. Together with Dogus we look forward to meeting this need.”

Editor-in-chief Çiler Ilha commented: “It is our aim to deliver the most authentic content with the most exciting photography and to take our readers to destinations off the beaten track both home and abroad.”

The launch issue showcases the 20 best family hotels for the summer holidays in Lisbon, Milan, Miami, Boston and Kiklad Island, river trips on luxury yachts from the Nile to Peru; the most famous bistros in Paris, and 10 rooms with the best views show by Turkey’s leading photographers.

Condé Nast Traveller currently has eight editions internationally including the USA, Britain, Spain, Italy, India, Russia, the Middle East and China, with a global readership of over 5.2 million a month. The magazine is the authority on luxury travel and provides inspiration and advice for discerning travellers looking for unique, unforgettable and luxurious travel experiences, says Condé Nast.

Condé Nast first partnered with the Dogus Media Group in 2010 with the launch of Vogue Turkey, followed by GQ Turkey in 2012. The Turkish edition of La Cucina Italiana is published under a licence agreement with MC Basin Yayin Ltd.
