AOP says goodbye to Ron Nussey

After five years, Ron Nussey is leaving the AOP to join The Rubicon Project.

AOP Director Lee Baker writes: “AOP’s Head of Marketing & Communications Ron Nussey (pictured) is leaving us, after 5 years hard service, to join the marketing team at The Rubicon Project.

Ron has been the engine room of AOP in my time here, contributing to every AOP output and initiative.  He is irreplaceable and leaving a big void amongst the team, all of whom will miss him a great deal. He has been the driving force behind the AOP website redesign, and our influential presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr and other platforms. He has put his passion into making a success of the AOP Product Development Committee, covering a diverse range of subjects impacting on media owners’ businesses: from mobile, to agile development practices, user experience and information architecture, to developing global products, EU cookie legislation, gamification and tablet apps.

Ron's understandably enthusiastic about his new role; “After 5 years of writing AOP’s content, programming events and running its product committee, I hope I’ve done my bit in helping publishers build better digital businesses for the future. I’m really excited to start at Rubicon, which is a fantastic opportunity for me to take these efforts to the next level.”

On behalf of the entire AOP membership and executive, we would like to thank him and wish him great success in his continuing career.”
